While the full-time missionaries are set apart to teach and baptize, sharing the message of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is the privilege of every member of the Lord's Church. We have the responsibility to invite others to "come and see" (John 1:39) - see how the Gospel brings us joy; see how the Gospel blesses us as individuals and families; see how we walk the covenant path to prepare to return to our Father in Heaven.
Elder Neil L. Anderson - Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
We live in an age and dispensation where technology enables us to share the Gospel more efficiently and, potentially, effectively than ever before. With the push of a button a personal message of faith is available to uplift and bless the lives of others. Even during this time of social distancing we can all help share the Gospel in simple, but effective ways. Here are a few resources and ideas from our Ward Mission:
Pray for opportunities to love, share, and invite
Text, call, or visit a non-member friend who may be in need
Invite a friend to come and worship with you
Participate in missionary lessons
Create or update your "family mission plan"
Share stories from your mission with your family or others
Invite the full-time missionaries to teach in your home
Share your testimony of the Gospel with a friend
Study Preach My Gospel
Write letters to missionaries serving from our ward and stake
Share a message of peace, hope, trust, and faith in God on social media
Invite a friend to watch General Conference
Pray to know how you can share the Gospel with a friend - this Church site can help you get started
Ponder and write down how your faith helps you, and then share with friends and family
Do some family history research and share a story with a friend
