Go to this link to do a "Guided Index" project (kind of like a practice project)
Get started by going to the "Web Indexing" page, select "Find Batches," select the difficulty and language you prefer, choose a batch and click "Index!"
Visit this site if you need "Help" along the way! All indexed batches are afterward looked over by an arbitrator who has extensive experience in these records, so don't worry about getting everything 100% correct!
Talking to loved ones is a great way not only to connect as a family, but to preserve family history for future generations.
FamilySearch.org features dozens of activities geared towards individuals and families.
Find out where you come from
Leanr what your name means
Discover which ancestor you resemble most
Record information about yourself

... and much more!
